WHAT THE FUCK FRIESENS?

Today I received in the mail, a complimentary soft cover journal from one of Canada's most renowned printers, Friesens with whom I had a book printed a few years back. From humble beginnings in 1907, Friesens has grown into the premier short run print manufacturer and packaging specialist in Canada, producing amazing print and packaging products for top publishers, schools, and manufacturers around the world. So far, so good.

Then I opened the journal and flipped through the posse of full-colour, beautifully designed pages at the front of the journal, which honour brilliant...wait for it...

men.

Albert Einstein, Alexander Graham Bell, Benjamin Franklin, Neil Armstrong, Louis Pasteur, the Wright Brothers, Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla.

Not one woman on board the bright ideas rocket ship.
